🛒 Ingredients (Makes 4 wraps)
For the BBQ chicken:
1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
1 cup BBQ sauce (choose your fave—sweet, smoky, spicy!) 🔥
1 tbsp olive oil 🫒
Salt & pepper to taste
For the coleslaw:
2 cups shredded cabbage mix (green + purple + carrots) 🥬
1/3 cup mayo or Greek yogurt
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 🍎
1 tsp honey or maple syrup 🍯
Salt & pepper to taste
Wrap base & extras:
4 large flour tortillas 🌯
1 cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack cheese 🧀 (optional)
Pickles or sliced jalapeños (optional) 🥒🌶️
Fresh cilantro or parsley (optional garnish)
On the side:
1 bag frozen curly fries (or make from scratch if you’re feeling fancy!) 🍟
👨‍🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Chicken:
Slice chicken into strips or keep whole. Season with salt & pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, cook until golden and cooked through (about 7–8 minutes). Add BBQ sauce and toss to coat. Let it simmer until thick and sticky. 🔥
2️⃣ Mix the Slaw:
In a bowl, whisk mayo, vinegar, honey, salt & pepper. Toss in the shredded cabbage mix. Chill in the fridge while everything else cooks. ❄️
3️⃣ Bake the Curly Fries:
Prepare curly fries according to package instructions (air fryer, oven, or deep fryer). Make them extra crispy! 🍟
4️⃣ Assemble the Wraps:
Warm tortillas slightly for easy folding. Layer each with:
A bed of cheese (optional, but amazing)
A generous scoop of BBQ chicken
Creamy coleslaw
Pickles or jalapeños if you’re feeling bold 🔥
Fold, roll, and wrap it up tight 🌯
5️⃣ Serve it up:
Plate with a pile of crispy curly fries, maybe a drizzle of extra BBQ sauce, and dig in!
💡 Tips & Variations:
Swap chicken for pulled pork or crispy tofu
Add avocado for creamy contrast 🥑
Toast the wrap in a pan for a grilled finish
Make it a wrap bar for guests with mix-and-match fillings! 🎉
